From December 2025 to March 2026, the ScienceUs project is hosting a four-part online Info Day Series dedicated to advancing the role of Citizen Science in climate action across Europe.
At a time when environmental challenges require collective intelligence and cross-sectoral collaboration, ScienceUs brings together communities, educators, researchers, NGOs, and policymakers to explore how citizens can meaningfully contribute to climate resilience, justice, and informed decision-making.
The Info Day Series acts as a bridge connecting:
- Universities and research organisations
- Policy and public authorities
- Local communities and civil society
- Educators and training bodies
- Citizen Science practitioners and innovators
Each session focuses on a different pillar of citizen-driven climate action — from adaptation and volunteer engagement to climate justice and trustworthy data.
INFO DAY 2 - Citizen Science in Action: Recruiting, Motivating & Sustaining Volunteers in Citizen Science Initiatives
Citizen Science projects thrive when communities actively contribute. This session focuses on how to build, engage, and retain strong volunteer networks.
