On behalf of UnILiON, the Université libre de Bruxelles - ULB and Vrije Universiteit Brussel - VUB, are pleased to invite you to the next UnILiON Open Talk on Tuesday 8 April, between 13:30 to 14:30 at the VUB-ULB Usquare site, OpenLab room (Avenue de la Couronne 227, 1050 Brussels).
This session will address the stakes of the next Framework programme for Research & Innovation for universities in the context of current EU policies, offering insights from an external expert. We are now opening registration to non-UnILiON members to give opportunities for more colleagues to attend. You can also participate to the networking lunch beforehand, from 12:30 to 13:30.
The Open Talk will feature Mr. Ricardo Migueis, head of the INESC Brussels Hub with over 20 years of experience in EU policy, strategy and programming. The discussion will cover the EU’s competitiveness compass, its connection to universities’ R&I priorities and the European Education & Research Areas, and the evolving dynamics between European Commission Directorates in programme negotiations. Mr. Migueis will share his insights, followed by an interactive discussion encouraging participants to share their perspectives. To ensure an open dialogue, the session will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
